Health data is special-category data
The information you record in JabDay — your medication, doses, weight and side effects — is “special-category” personal data under UK GDPR. We only process it on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give at sign-up and can withdraw at any time by deleting your account.
What we store, and why
We store your account details (name, email) and the health data you enter, solely to provide the tracking service to you — your dashboard, titration ladder, cost tracker and reports. We do not use your health data for advertising.
No third-party analytics on health events
We do not send your health events (jabs, doses, weights, side effects) to any third-party analytics or advertising service. We never sell your personal information.
Your data is portable
You can export everything you’ve recorded to a CSV file at any time from Settings. Your data is not locked to any one device or platform — JabDay works the same on iPhone, Android and desktop.
Permanent deletion
“Delete my account” in Settings performs a hard delete: your user record and all associated health data (profile, jabs, weights, side effects, costs) are permanently removed from our database. This cannot be undone.
